I work in watercolours, oils and acrylics, taking inspiration from the changing light on the east coast of Yorkshire. Born in the Lake district, then moving to the Peak district before settling in Hull East Yorkshire. Since leaving my career as an architect I have taken up painting full time.
I have had work selected for various open exhibitions
    Ferens Art gallery Hull
    Treasury House gallery Beverley
    Bridlington Spa Artwaves Festival
    Scarborough Art gallery.

I am a member of several art groups:

Hull Street Artists who exhibit every third Sunday in the Humber Street area as well as in Leonardo's and Vintage cafe bars in Hull's old town.
David Thomas's watercolour group who meet weekly for a demonstration and practice painting sessions in Little Weighton village hall.
